February 3, 2009, Clyde Ricky Clemmons passed away. Please join MSCC members in saluting
Ricky, a great lover of his family and his cars. Ricky will be deeply missed.
A message from his son, Josh:
"For the people that didnt get
a chance to make it out, you missed a great event. This was more than just a funeral, it was a celebration! A celebration
of a great friend, father, husband, and fellow Chevelle nut that made his way to the heavens above us! If I were to make a
very close estimate, I'd say there were ~2,000~ people show up! You should have seen the parade of cars headed to the
cemetary, we had the busiest street in Murfreesboro, Tn shut down on a BEAUTIFUL Friday afternoon! That alone was impressive!
Man would dad have loved to see that! After the funeral we came back home only to be greeted to a ton of food and friends.
I had to go out to the garage and "stage" it the way dad would. For those of you who have visited Ricky's "clubhouse"
know what I mean. All in all, it was truly a blessing to meet all the people that my dad had touched in his short time here
on earth. Once again, I greatly apreciate all that you guys have done for me and my family. Please continue to call, visit,
or say hi to me or any of the family if you see us out at an event."
I would like to add that I counted over 50 "hot rods" in the procession to the cemetary, in
addition to probably over 50 other vehicles. A great testimony to a great guy.

On June 3, 2009, MSCC lost another member, "Ole Man"
Sisco. His real name is Harold Mitchell Sisco. He was married to a wonderful lady, Helen, for 58 years before
he passed away. He lived a good life. "Ole Man" and Helen had 3 sons and 1 daughter, Harold Jr., Michael,
Cathy and Mark (Mark passed away when he was 11 years old). Mitch and Helen have been active members of MSCC for many
years and all of the Mid South members loved them both. He loved his family and he loved his cars. He
was always willing to help his family and his friends. God and his angels got another good one.
A note from
his son, Harold Jr.:
"Ok folks I hope I can put in to words how thankful this family
is to you for the kindness you all have shown since daddy passed away. The shared tears, memories and love just shows this
other family momma & daddy had joined are some of the nicest most caring people I've ever met. And that escort for
the Ole Man's last cruise made us so proud of this club and all who were able to take time in what I know was one of the
busiest days of the year. The kindness, great food, the generousity of an auction to give back to a man and woman who
I personally feel has given much was greatly appreciated. You all have helped us through the first of the darkest
days and we are for ever greatful. I know this note finds you preparing for a memorial cruise for Ricky Clemmons. Our hearts
go out to his family as well. Your great looking cars make the hobby, but the people make it a club."
Thank you all
Sincerely
Harold Sisco and Ole Man's family

On Saturday, June 6th, MSCC members joined the Sisco family
for his funeral. As requested by Mr. Sisco, Mid South members drove their Chevelles for his "last
cruise". There were 30+ Chevelles following him down Dickerson Road in Goodlettsville TN, which was an honor for
us and truly a testament to a great man. Rest in Peace Ole Man, we will miss you!

Bradley Don Pruitt went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2008.
Bradley was escorted by fellow Mid South Chevelle Club member cars and Murfreesboro Hot Rod Club cars on a beautiful day in
March when he was laid to rest in Murfreesboro. Bradley was a beautiful soul, and no matter where we are these
days, we always feel Bradley's presence with us.
Below is a copy of the tribute read in Bradley's honor when the 1st Annual
Bradley Don Pruitt Award was presented at the Murfreesboro Hot Rod Club Car Show in May 2008.
Bradley Don Pruitt 1982-2008 Bradley was a remarkable young man who never in his 25 short years on Earth complained about anything. He lived
his life to the fullest with the love and support of his parents, family and many, many friend. Bradley went to Northfield
Elementary from kindergarten through sixth grade, Central Middle for seventh and eighth and was a graduate of Oakland High
School in 2003. Bradley had a love for cars, old hot rods and race cars. He frequently participated in the Murfreesboro Hot
Rod Club and the Mid South Chevelle Club, which he was a member of both. He loved going to the races with his brother, Brian
and his cousin, Mike. He attended many races at Bowling Green Kentucky. Bradley loved convertibles, so on one of his MANY
trips to the Rod Run in Pigeon Forge TN, his dad purchased a 1969 Chevelle Convertible. Bradley picked out the paint color
(Viper Red) and it became Bradley’s car. Bradley’s greatest love in life was people. He loved being surrounded

Butch Johnson, proud MSCC member since June 7, 1999, passed away on May 5,
2010.
I want to thank everyone that expressed their thoughts, prayers, gifts and support during this difficult
time.
Butch loved the MSCC club, devoting his time over the years, but he loved the people more than anything.
We made many good friends after joining the club and have traveled many places, meeting more friends.
Thank
you all from the bottom of my heart for everything.
Sandra Johnson
This is the last photo taken of Butch. We were at the Peach State
Show. He had that look on his face, because it was misting rain, as it always did when we went to the show.
